In August and September, we visit King’s longest work by this date—a lengthy contemplation of good versus evil on the backdrop of a deadly pandemic. While we recommend reading The Complete & Uncut Edition (1990), it is 400+ more pages, so any edition will do!

Losers [Book] Club Monthly Gathering
Port Hope isn’t the only town in Northumberland that gets to stake a claim on Stephen King. From 6-7pm on the last Thursday of every month, join us to chat about King’s novels, novellas, and short stories. While there are many ways to read King’s works, we will tackle them (mostly) chronologically. So, whether you are a Constant Reader, a new reader, or just looking for a new community, we welcome you to our gathering.
There is no requirement to RSVP, but doing so will help us ensure we have enough seats!
This gathering will coincide with Alchimista’s “Sip Happens,” so the shop will be open late with the coffee brewing, the tea steeping, and the cocktails mixing.
